Product details

The MFB family consists of Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver modules specifically designed for high-performance integrated duplex data connections over single-mode fiber optic. These transceiver modules comply with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and are hot-pluggable. They provide an easy way to be installed in SFP MSA-compliant ports at any time without interrupting the operation of the host equipment.

The MFB SFP transceivers utilize a long-wavelength (1310 nm) FP LD, enabling data transmission of up to 2 km over multimode fiber and up to 60 km over single-mode fiber.

To meet the growing demand for industrial Ethernet fiber solutions, Planet is launching the MFB-T series 100Base-FX transceivers, which can reliably operate in electrically harsh, climatically challenging, and wide temperature ranges (-40 °C to 75 °C). The MFB-T series 100Base-FX transceivers provide simple and fast 100Base-FX connections for Planet's industrial devices that are resistant to extreme temperatures.
