Planet FGSW-2622VHP

The Planet FGSW-2622VHP is a PoE+ switch equipped with 24 RJ-45 PoE+ ports and 2 Gigabit combo ports. The 24 PoE+ ports supply power to PoE 802.3af/at-compliant devices. The 2 RJ-45 Gigabit ports are combo ports, meaning they can be operated either with a copper connection or with a fiber connection. You can insert SFP modules to establish a long-distance connection. The FGSW-2622VHP has a 300 W PoE power output budget, and the LCD screen provides real-time information on the status of each connected device.

This switch is well-suited for small CCTV installations, such as a combination of indoor cameras with or without day/night vision or PTZ outdoor cameras with heated housings, which require more resources. In addition to the PoE+ functions, the Planet FGSW-2622VHP features a micro switch. You can select the "VLAN mode" to isolate each port of the connected cameras, improving the image flows transferred to the recorders, or choose the "Extended mode" for a connection of up to 250 meters over copper Ethernet cable. For the extended mode, it is recommended to use solid-wire category 6 cable with RJ-45 field connectors.
