PLA-Y Glue Spezialkleber für PLA ASA ABS

PLA-Y-Glue is an innovative specialty adhesive for 3D printing that permanently and strongly bonds PLA components. Unlike conventional adhesives, this glue welds the surfaces at a molecular level, resulting in particularly durable connections that are nearly as stable as a solid print. The adhesive is ideal for repairing broken parts, permanently joining multi-part constructions, or making modifications to existing projects. It can also reliably work with other common filaments like ABS or ASA, significantly expanding its range of applications. The dispensing tip allows for precise and clean application, minimizing adhesive residue.

Application of PLA-Y Glue:
Preparation: Thoroughly clean the surfaces you want to bond. They should be free from dust, grease, or filament residues. The cleaner the surface, the stronger the bond will be.
Application: Apply a thin layer of glue evenly to both contact surfaces. Be careful not to use too much – a fine layer is sufficient.
Fixing: Align the parts accurately and secure them immediately for about 5 minutes. Clamps, clips, or rubber bands work well for this purpose. This prevents slipping and ensures that the surfaces are optimally aligned.
Curing: Allow the parts to rest for at least 24 hours afterward. During this time, the glue fully cures, and the bond reaches its maximum strength – almost as if the parts were welded together.
