To ensure high user comfort and optimal utilization of suitable displays, the VSX-831 is equipped with a high-quality video scaler that can convert Full HD to 4K and also outputs the newly designed GUI interface in this resolution. It’s clear that HD audio formats like DTS ES or Dolby TrueHD are also supported – the VSX-831 takes full advantage of their potential thanks to its new 32bit/384kHz DAC, even better than previous models in this class.

Digital music delicacies can arrive not only via HDMI or S/PDIF but also, quite contemporarily, via network – either through cable or integrated dual-band Wi-Fi, and with DLNA streaming in full studio master resolution (DSD up to 5.6MHz, PCM up to 192/24).
