Electric retractable undercarriages offer decisive advantages over mechanical or pneumatic undercarriages because the servo motor is already integrated into the undercarriage. Simply plug it into the receiver; that's all. They are compatible with all commercially available receivers and suitable for model aircraft with a take-off weight of up to approximately 1.5 kg.
