Product details
The Philips Sonicare Series 5500 Electric Toothbrush not only provides thorough cleaning, but also removes superficial discolouration for a brighter, whiter smile. With the W2 Optimal White brush head, your teeth can appear up to 2x whiter compared to a manual toothbrush. Also compared to a conventional manual toothbrush, the Philips Sonicare Series 5500 removes up to 7x more plaque, ensuring a comprehensive clean. Thanks to the innovative Next-Generation Sonicare sonic technology, the brushing power of the toothbrush automatically adjusts to provide a consistently optimal performance of 62,000 brush head movements per minute, even in hard-to-reach areas. The dynamic fluid flow supports the cleaning performance of the brush head by gently pulsing fluid between the interdental spaces and along the gumline. Two cleaning programmes offer personalised cleaning, with Clean mode focusing on plaque removal and White mode removing superficial stains. An intelligent pressure sensor detects excessive pressure and signals this by flashing, while the vibration is reduced to protect the gums. BrushSync technology informs you when a new brush head is needed to ensure optimum performance.
Removes up to 7x more plaque compared to a manual toothbrush and helps you achieve whiter teeth in just one week
Real-time feedback: if you apply too much pressure while brushing, the integrated sensor alerts you with a pulsating sound and a reduced vibration of the handpiece.
3 brushing modes for optimal care: Clean to remove plaque and White to remove discolouration
