With the 3-in-1 Sensor PST02-1C from Philio, you can monitor not only the status of your doors and windows, as the device is equipped with a total of three different sensors:

• Door/Window Sensor
• Temperature Sensor
• Brightness Sensor

The sensor consists of two parts: a main unit with the sensor and a magnet. The magnet is attached to the movable part, and the detector is mounted on the frame of the door or window. When the door or window opens, the magnetic field shifts, and the detector triggers an alarm state as long as the system is armed.

The sensor can also be used for light control, for example, by determining the light intensity with the light sensor, which can then be relayed to a Z-Wave switch. The switch will turn on the light whenever the door is opened and the room behind it is dark. Each time the door/window sensor is triggered, the sensor also sends temperature and brightness values.
