Pentax Papilio II 6.5x21 U-Series

The U-Series consists of binoculars designed with Porro prism construction. They are ultra-compact and feature a housing with synchronized adjustment of the interpupillary distance. The new full multi-coating guarantees high light transmission. Aspherical lens elements provide edge-to-edge sharpness. These binoculars are the perfect companion for nearly all applications. The Papilio series holds a special and unique position with a close focus distance of 50 cm.

With the unique macro function, it is now possible to observe not only at great distances. In the close range, many interesting subjects arise with butterflies, flowers, and insects.

Optimal light transmission is one of the most important aspects for the visual quality of binoculars. This is also the focus of the new technologies for the current PENTAX Sport Optics series. The "Full Multi Coating" on all lenses is considered the new standard coating. It enhances light transmission and contrast while minimizing reflections and providing excellent color fidelity.

Specially crafted aspherical lens elements reduce optical aberrations to a minimum and are responsible for sharp and brilliant image reproduction even at the edges. The aspherical hybrid lenses of the U-Series not only allow for good imaging performance but also enable a compact and lightweight design.
