Nevertheless, the USB scale from the PCE-PB N series can be used with the optional, affordable ProCell software. This software simulates keyboard input, similar to a scanner. With the help of this software, the scale can then transfer the weight value to active fields. Another advantage of this scale with software is the wired display. The display comes with a stand, but is also suitable for wall mounting. Other interesting features of the scale include the piece counting function, PEAK Hold function, fill level control function, measurement units such as kg, lb, N (Newton), and g, adjustable background lighting, configurable auto shut-off, and the option to operate the scale with a power supply or batteries.
