Digital scale with direct display in g/m². The digital scale features an RS-232 interface, backlighting, and a piece counting function. It is specifically designed for measuring basis weight and is also suitable for mobile use. With this digital scale, basis weight measurements can be conducted and evaluated in no time. It allows for the precise determination of the basis weight of paper, cardboard, or various textiles. Depending on the model, it can weigh up to 1100 g with a resolution of 0.01 g. In addition to measuring basis weight, the digital scale can transmit measurement data to a PC, enabled by the integrated RS-232 interface. The included power supply allows for stationary use of the digital scale. Alternatively, the digital scale can also be used mobile, for which 3 x 1.5 V AA batteries can be utilized. The optionally available round sample cutter ensures that the same samples are always used for basis weight determination.
