The hanging scale has a measurement range of 0 to 1000 kg. With an accuracy of 1% of the full scale, the hanging scale is a particularly precise measuring instrument. The housing is made of robust metal, allowing the scale to be used in harsh environments. Operation is done from the side via the control panel, where settings such as the unit can be adjusted or the zero point can be reset. With a digit height of 41 mm and adjustable background lighting, the hanging scale is easily readable from a distance and in dark environments. A remote control is included for operation from a greater distance. The remote allows for additional settings such as background lighting, summation function, or automatic shut-off. The summation function enables the sequential display of attached weights. In addition to the units kg and lb, a user-specific unit can be set by entering a multiplier based on the measured kg value. The energy-saving electronics allow for continuous measurement for approximately 45 hours. Optionally, the hanging scale can be equipped with an ISO calibration certificate.
