Instructions for use | Application: Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease. For a transparent bond, apply a thin layer of adhesive and join the two parts together. Press together for 1 hour. For use as a gap filler, the adhesive is applied in thick layers (up to 5mm). Both parts are held together for 1 to 3 hours. 70% of the final strength is achieved after 24 hours. For bonds with high initial strength, both surfaces are evenly coated with a thin layer and allowed to dry for 3-4 minutes. PATTEX Extreme Repair then becomes as sticky as adhesive tape and both parts can be bonded by pressing firmly together. For an excellent final result, the gel can be painted over after drying. |
