Instructions for use | Substrate pre-treatment: The surfaces of the parts to be joined must be dry and free of oil, grease, dust and other components that could impair adhesion. Application: Shake the spray can well before use. Pattex Power Spray Adhesive Permanent is applied directly from the can to the bonding surfaces at a spray distance of 15 to 20 cm over the entire surface (crosswise). Apply to both surfaces. Ensure that the edges are well coated. The adjustable spray head allows the adhesive to be sprayed horizontally and vertically in 3 jet-like strengths (L, M, H). Allow the parts coated with adhesive to flash off for approx. 10-15 minutes, depending on the working method, application thickness, temperature conditions, room ventilation and humidity. It is important to adhere exactly to the flash-off time, as both too short and too long flash-off times can have a negative effect on the bonding results. Once the correct bonding time has been reached, the parts are joined together correctly, as subsequent correction is no longer possible. Then press the parts together briefly but firmly. For polystyrene bonding, apply adhesive only to the substrate (not to the polystyrene) and allow to flash off for at least 10 minutes. Cleaning: Adhesive residues/stains that have not set - including on tools - can be removed with white spirit. Check substrate compatibility in a suitable place beforehand. Transport advice: When transporting in a vehicle: Store the can in a cloth in the boot, never in the rear. |
