Enhance the marking of your IT applications with the 16 colors of the PATCHCLIP system (optional). PATCHSEE functionality: Two plastic optical fibers (POF) are integrated into the RJ45 patch cables. These POFs are bent 180° in both connectors. Light is injected from one side into the POF using a lighting tool (PATCHLIGHT or PRO-PATCHLIGHT), and you can immediately see the two light points at the respective other cable end without having to unplug the cable. The lighting tool is simply placed on the back of the connector. The light injection does not affect the data transmission of the cable and is solely for signaling. Halogen-free sheath: Unlike conventional PVC cables, these cables are halogen-free. The dangerous release of halogen-containing combustion gases is thus excluded, and smoke generation is minimized. Halogen-free cables are also flame-retardant and do not exhibit a dangerous ignition cord effect. Category 6A: Category 6 augmented (Cat 6A) is a standard that arises from the increased bandwidth requirements of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10 GBASE-T). Cat 6A cables are designed for transmission frequencies up to 500 MHz and distances up to 100 m, and are backward compatible with existing categories.
