PATCHSEE functionality: Two plastic optical waveguides (OWG) are integrated into the RJ45 patch cables. These OWGs are bent 180° in the two connectors. Light is injected from one side into the OWG using a light tool (PATCHLIGHT or PRO-PATCHLIGHT), and you can immediately see the two light points at the respective other cable end without having to unplug the cable. The light tool is simply placed on the boot from the back. The light injection does not affect the data transmission of the cable and serves only for signaling.

Halogen-free sheath: Unlike conventional PVC cables, these cables are halogen-free. The dangerous release of halogen-containing combustion gases is therefore excluded, and smoke generation is minimized. Halogen-free cables are also flame-retardant and do not exhibit a dangerous ignition cord effect.

Category 6A: Category 6 augmented (Cat 6A) is a standard that results from the increased bandwidth requirements of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10 GBASE-T). Cat 6A cables are designed for transmission frequencies up to 500 MHz and distances up to 100 m, and they are backward compatible with existing categories.
