The new Uniphier LSI processor utilizes a unique image optimization technology, allowing BD content to be converted into 4K signals. It offers the highest detail accuracy with lifelike color reproduction, providing four times the resolution of Full HD for crystal-clear images. For 4K Direct Chroma Upscaling, a TV with the same resolution is required.

With 4K 60p-compatible devices featuring a single-wire connection, the player is ready for the next generation of 4K resolution broadcasts and the playback of native 4K images at a refresh rate of 60 Hertz (4k/60p). You can now showcase your fantastic vacation photos in top-notch picture quality on the TV screen—without down-conversion.

The Miracast feature of the DMP-BDT700 supports audio and video streaming via Wi-Fi Direct technology. This allows the TV to be used as a second screen for streaming audio and video content from smartphones and tablet PCs. Even without a Wi-Fi connection, you can play video content from your smartphone on the TV screen through the player. This way, you can now enjoy the content from your own device together with your family on the television.

Access to various content and services is available via the internet and home network. The DMP-BDT700 also provides numerous online services across different categories, such as sports, games, music, and more.

    Der sehr hochwertige BD Player ist ein echter Allrounder und hat offenbar keine Schwächen. Das Bild auch in Standard Auflösung ist mehr als solide und der Ton via HDMI Port erstklassig. Zudem spielt der interne Medienplayer so ziemlich alles ab was man ihm vorsetzt und in Netzwerk ist ein Einsatz sehr gut möglich.

    Der neue Player ist beim Bild überragend denn neben einer tollen Wiedergabe ist das Modell auch in der Lage Daten in 4k Auflösung darzustellen. Dabei ist auch das Upscaling von Material sehr gut möglich und nur bei der Navigation sowie den Ladezeiten für die Scheiben könnte das Gerät etwas flotter arbeiten.

      Die Modellpflege hat sich beim BDT700 tatsächlich gelohnt: Die Bildqualität ist hervorragend, und klanglich konnte der Player ebenfalls deutlich zulegen. Besonders gut wusste die neue Bedienoberfläche zu überzeugen, schließlich ist einfache Bedienung einer der Schlüssel zu hervorragender Wiedergabequalität. Zudem bietet sie jede Menge Spielraum fürs Feintuning von Bild und Ton.
