The Ovaleap Pen is used for the injection of Ovaleap. Ovaleap contains the active ingredient Follitropin alfa, which is nearly identical to the hormone "Follicle-stimulating hormone" (FSH) that is naturally produced in the body. FSH is a gonadotropin that belongs to a group of hormones that play an important role in human fertility and reproduction. In women, FSH is necessary for the growth and maturation of the egg-containing follicles in the ovaries. In men, FSH is required for sperm production.
