The model is a replica of the T-34/85 medium tank. The T-34/85 is regarded as the best medium tank of World War II. It distinguished itself from other tanks in the same category through the optimal combination of key combat features - firepower, protection, and mobility, as well as high maintainability and technological design - which enabled mass production during a very challenging time for the Soviet Union. German tank commanders stated, "The T-34 is far superior to all German tanks of the early part of World War II." During World War II, the T-34/85 was produced in three factories. Our kit is a model of the T-34/85 tank equipped with an 85-mm ZIS-C-53 gun, manufactured in the autumn of 1944 at Factory No. 183. In total, over 48,000 T-34-85 tanks were produced.
