No.: 510005625 Product Name: 1:35 Fast Boat S-26 / S-38 Between the two World Wars, numerous naval forces undertook programs to develop torpedo boat flotillas capable of both patrol and attack missions. The new engine technologies ensured better performance and higher operational efficiency compared to World War I. In the 1930s, the German Navy developed the famous S-class torpedo motorboats. From 1939 to 1940, the S-26 series was built, recognizable by its integrated foredeck featuring two 533-mm torpedo tubes. The aesthetic design of the bow was also retained and improved in later versions. Among the most well-known fast boats are those of the S-38 version. The nearly 100 produced units had a length of 35 meters and a displacement of over 100 tons when fully loaded. Thanks to its 12-cylinder Daimler-Benz engines, it could achieve a top speed of 39.5 knots.
