Ortovox Haute Route 40

The Haute Route has been around almost since the birth of ski touring. This tried-and-tested classic is perfect for longer ski crossings. Thanks to the use of Cordura and PFC-free, double-layer 420D Oxford polyamide, the Haute Route 40 is extremely abrasion-resistant and also water-repellent thanks to the PU coating on all fabrics. Load control straps and the O-Flex 2 back system with ergonomic fit and S-shaped stabiliser ensure an optimum fit and distribute the weight evenly over the hips and shoulders, even over longer periods of time. The hip fins are also connected to the inside of the back system so that they can enclose the body completely and comfortably. With its larger volume, the Haute Route 40 offers space for everything you want to take with you. The spacious main compartment is accessible from the top and from the back, so that everything is quickly at hand, while the separate safety compartment also ensures quick access to emergency equipment. Thanks to the rope attachment on the rucksack lid, a rope can be quickly packed or unpacked without having to open the lid. In addition to crampon attachment, ice axe and pole attachment and a fixed helmet net, there are also flexible carrying attachments, e.g. for a snowboard. Skis can be attached to the ski touring rucksack both in the classic way and diagonally.
