The future of freeriding: The Avabag LiTRIC Freeride 16 S is an avalanche airbag backpack specifically designed for descents. From powder days close to the slopes to multi-day freeride tours: with just one base, the Avabag LiTRIC Freeride and Tour Zip can be attached in various sizes, each tailored to its specific purpose. The Zip is designed to seamlessly integrate the base and the different backpacks into one unit.

The base of the Avabag LiTRIC Freeride 16 S consists of a back element and an airbag system and features a specially designed shortened back system for smaller individuals. Thanks to the Clasp Back System - with soft back pads, a wide, flexible hip belt, and soft shoulder straps - the versatile, lightweight Freeride Base sits extremely close to the back while providing full freedom of movement. It is compatible with the Clasp Spine Protector (sold separately).

All the functions of the stowable pocket are specifically tailored for freeriding: features like ski, snowboard, and ice axe attachments, as well as a helmet holder and quick access to the main compartment leave nothing to be desired. Emergency equipment can be secured in special material loops within the main compartment.

LiTRIC, the electronic airbag system, is lightweight, reliable, and easy to use. The electrical system can be fully charged via USB-C in about 25 minutes, and activation can be tested as many times as needed without additional costs. The absence of a cartridge means: more space, no weight.
