The TX-NR626 is the perfect symbiosis of function and performance. On the functional side, it features integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology for music streaming. This allows you to play high-resolution, lossless, and compressed formats from your smartphone, tablet, PC, or NAS system.
On the performance side, six HDMI inputs and two ARC-capable outputs support 3D and 4K passthrough technology, while lower-resolution video recordings are upscaled to 1080p on HDTVs using Qdeo technology.

Der Onkyo TX-NR626 erreicht gerade noch eine gute Note im Test, mit einer besseren Handhabung und Bedienung wäre das Ergebnis deutlich besser ausgefallen. Abzüge gibt es zudem für den sehr hohe Stromverbrauch. Lob verdient sich der Receiver mit einem guten Klang, einer guten und vor allem vielseitigen Ausstattung und auch der guten Verarbeitung.
Der Onkyo ist ein Meister wenn es darum geht externe Geräte an den Receiver anzuschließen. So viele Anschlüsse sind eher selten und auch der Klang konnte hier überzeugen. Allerdings ist das automatische Einmesssystem nicht so optimal und die Einstellungen wirken zu grob. dafür spielt er so ziemlich alles ab was man ihm vorsetzt.
Der Receiver kann mittels Bluetooth oder WLAN auf externe Geräte greifen und somit die Musik auch ohne Kabelsalat streamen. Dabei ist der Klang zwar nicht schlecht aber Freunde von einer tiefen Abstimmung werden über helle Töne eher nicht erfreut sein. Dafür ist aber das Gerät tadellos verarbeitet und auch die Bedienung mittels App funktioniert einwandfrei.
