Christmas Postcard "Seiffen Church"

The Bergkirche Seiffen is commonly referred to as the Seiffen Church. The octagonal floor plan of the Seiffen Church is a unique feature that has made it famous worldwide. Christian Gotthelf Reuther drew inspiration from the architecture of the Dresden Frauenkirche when designing the Seiffen Church. Its interior reflects the bright, cheerful Saxon Baroque style of the late 18th century.

The wooden carving art from the Erzgebirge region has also contributed to the worldwide fame of the Seiffen Church. Countless wooden replicas of the Seiffen Church circulate around the globe.
