The integrated opticalCON DUO Studio connector functions as a pass-through connector, allowing for easy installations by connecting a standard LC duplex at the back. It is installed in standard D housings that feature an automatic sealing cover for maximum dust and dirt protection, as well as a push-pull locking mechanism for a secure connection. This connector is not compatible with the SMPTE 344M standard. It is suitable for controlling room (studio) cameras according to specific conditions outlined in IEC 60664-1, such as pollution degree 1, overvoltage category 1, and rated voltage.

This panel-mount connector has a black chrome finish, four solder connections, and an LC duplex pass-through socket. It is designed as a pass-through connector with an automatic sealing closure technique. The closure and silicone seal protect the optical connection from dust and dirt. It accepts standard LC connectors at the rear for easy installation, with a connection at the front panel possible via robust opticalCON or standard LC connectors. This connector provides a useful alternative to traditional connectors in permanent installations and is water-resistant according to IP65, offering protection against the ingress of materials when connected. In limited space, the housing can be mounted without a rubber seal (IP52).
