Der Router ist in der Tat sehr flott via WLAN unterwegs wenn das Gerät das schnelle Internet auch unterstützt. Allerdings ist die Software teils überholt und deshalb auch verbesserungswürdig. Die Installation sowie die verschiedenen Einstellungen sind aber dennoch einfach zu handhaben...

Auch wenn die Datenraten beim neuen Modell von Netgear sehr gut sind, fallen sie dennoch nicht besser aus als der des Vorgängermodells. Dabei kostet das aktuelle Gerät rund 50 Euro mehr. Allerdings bieten die zwei USB Ports sowie der SATA Anschluss ebenfalls sehr hohe Übertragungsraten, sodass das Streamen per LAN kein Problem darstellt und sogar Full HD Filme flüssig laufen.
