The AX742 Stacking Kit is a cost-effective and widely used method for local Virtual Chassis Stacking utilizing both rear I/O slots. When some switches are installed at a distance from each other, affordable SFP+ (AX743) and 10GBase-T (AX745) I/O modules can be used to establish remote connections via fiber optic or copper. The rear I/O module slots are utilized for the Zero-Touch Stacking feature.
