The self-adhesive, ultra-thin paper repair tape filmoplast P allows for nearly invisible repairs, such as for torn pages, sheet music, or drawings. When scanning or copying, filmoplast P remains invisible. It is also suitable for adhering torn pages and repairing broken edges. The special paper used has an ideal balance of stability and strength while being flexible and transparent. Filmoplast P extends the lifespan of books and documents. It is also used for mounting lightweight photos or papers behind a mat. The solvent-free, permanently elastic adhesive provides an easy-to-handle alternative to water-activated tapes. The adhesive of filmoplast P is slightly alkaline, ensuring no damage to the paper while providing sufficient buffering capacity to prevent acid corrosion. The aging resistance has been tested by the Paper Technology Foundation (PTS) and certified by the Photographic Activity Test (PAT) according to ISO 18916. The product composition of filmoplast P is free from APEO and BPA.
