The National Geographic 8x42 is a roof prism binocular with 8x magnification and a 42 mm objective diameter. A diopter adjustment allows corrections of up to ± 2 diopters. High-quality fully coated glass elements reduce disturbing reflections, improve light transmission, and provide high contrast even in poor lighting conditions. The binoculars feature a textured rubberized and dirt-repellent surface. A tripod socket also allows the binoculars to be mounted on a tripod.
