Moxa's ioLogik E2200 Series Ethernet Remote I/O is a PC-based data acquisition and control device that uses proactive, event-based reporting to control I/O devices and features the Click & Go programming interface. Unlike traditional PLCs that are passive and need to poll for data, Moxa's ioLogik E2200 Series, in conjunction with our MX-AOPC UA server, communicates with SCADA systems via active messaging that is sent to the server only when status changes or configured events occur. In addition, the ioLogik E2200 has SNMP for communication and control using an NMS (Network Management System), allowing IT professionals to configure the device to transmit I/O status reports according to configured specifications.
