The industrial Ethernet switches of the EDS-205A series with 5 ports support IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u/x with 10/100M full/half duplex MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing. The EDS-205A series features redundant power inputs with 12/24/48 VDC (9.6 to 60 VDC), which can be connected simultaneously to live DC power sources. These switches are designed for harsh industrial environments, such as maritime, rail, highway, or mobile applications, or in hazardous environments that comply with FCC, UL, and CE standards. The EDS-205A switches are available with a standard operating temperature range of -10 to 60 °C or with an extended operating temperature range of -40 to 75 °C. All models undergo a 100% burn-in test to ensure they meet the specific requirements of industrial automation control applications. Additionally, the EDS-205A switches feature DIP switches to enable or disable broadcast storm protection, providing an extra level of flexibility for industrial applications.
