MOTU Unisyn Windows 2.0

Unisyn is the central control system for your entire MIDI studio. It includes graphical editing templates for over 200 MIDI devices and simplifies the creation of new sounds, whether you're crafting a sound from a single synthesizer or a "bombastic" sound wall from multiple devices. Unisyn frees you from small, cluttered LCD displays and confusing multifunction knobs by clearly displaying all available parameters of the device on your screen. A device-specific active on-screen help is always available to assist you. With various commands, you can even automatically generate new sounds.

Secure your sounds with Unisyn's library functions. Create libraries and sound banks for specific devices and save all of this to your hard drive. With Unisyn, you no longer need expensive sound cards or mountains of floppy disks. With a single mouse click, you can back up your settings for all MIDI devices and retrieve them as well. A fast, flexible database manages your entire sound collection. Assign your sounds to eight freely definable sound categories and then find all sound programs, for example, with "Slow Attack," "Strings," and "Korg M1." An on-screen keyboard allows you to quickly test a sound.

Unisyn works in real-time with Performer and Digital Performer. Play a sequence in Performer while simultaneously editing your sounds in Unisyn. Performer and Unisyn use the same sound program lists, ensuring that you always have the current settings available.
