Automated detection of hazardous heat sources can fail due to frequent false alarms in everyday situations. MOBOTIX now offers intelligent detection of the relevant situation with the Thermal Validation App. This app optimizes MOBOTIX Thermal Radiometry cameras for use in waste management and logistics. It allows for the filtering of vehicles (e.g., construction machinery and forklifts) as non-critical sources of high temperatures (e.g., by measuring hot body parts like the exhaust or engine cover). It expands the temperature measurement capabilities of MOBOTIX Thermal Radiometry cameras (compliant with CNPP 19005). Users can define up to 20 temperature measurement areas within the camera's field of view. Individual calibration of each temperature measurement area (e.g., emissivity) is possible. Temperature events are triggered when defined temperature thresholds are exceeded. The app detects physical manipulations of the thermal sensor (e.g., covering the sensor). MOBOTIX events are communicated via the MxMessageSystem. Temperature data and threshold status of the measurement areas are transmitted via MODBUS/TCP and JSON/XML via HTTP(S).
