The improvised armored vehicle Kubuś was designed and built by the Warsaw insurgents as one of the few structures of its kind in the contested city ravaged by an armed uprising. It is one of the few structures of this type in the world that were erected during World War II. It was created through the efforts of a group of soldiers from the Home Army group "Krybar" between August 8 and 23, 1944, in the workshops of the Warsaw Power Plant in Powiśle.
