The MikroTik LHG-5AXD is a powerful wireless access point designed for reliable outdoor and long-range connections. It operates in the 5 GHz frequency band with support for the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard (802.11ax), achieving data transfer speeds of up to 1200 Mbps for efficient network performance in various environments. This model features a compact, weather-resistant housing in white with a diameter of approximately 25 cm and a height of 15 cm, weighing around 800 g, making it suitable for fixed installations in demanding conditions. It includes an internal high-gain antenna with up to 25 dBi gain, enhancing signal range and stability for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connections over several kilometers. The device supports advanced network protocols such as Nstreme and NV2 for higher throughput and lower latency, as well as dual-chain MIMO technology for better data processing in congested areas. Power is supplied via a passive Power-over-Ethernet adapter with input voltages ranging from 10 to 30 V DC and a typical consumption of up to 8 W. The operating temperature range of -40 °C to 60 °C ensures functionality under extreme climate conditions, while the housing is protected with IP54 against dust and splashes. Setup and management are facilitated by the RouterOS software, which offers extensive configuration options for network administrators.
