RBwAPR-2nDundR11e-LR2 - wAP LR2 Kit, IoT Gateway with 650 MHz CPU
MikroTik's latest out-of-the-box solution for LoRa technology. Like the previous wAP LR kits, it includes a pre-installed UDP packet forwarder to any public or private LoRa servers and a weatherproof wireless outdoor access point with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi interface and Ethernet port with PoE-in, which can be used as a backend.
Here’s the difference: this device also operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency for LoRa. This means significantly higher bandwidth, higher data rates, and less transmission time. And due to the chirp modulation technology, it does not interfere with the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal. A perfect solution for industrial setups with a high sensor density.
It has a built-in 2 dBi Wi-Fi/4.7 dBi LoRa antenna, but you can add an external antenna for additional coverage. We recommend using the TOF-2400-8V-4 omnidirectional antenna for best results.
MikroTik has chosen to maintain the classic wAP form factor that has been tested in many of their other products – it can deliver excellent and stable performance in almost all weather conditions. Functional and unobtrusive design, amazing durability, and high quality remain at the core of this design.
The entire IoT community is exploring the 2.4 GHz LoRa possibilities – join them and be among the first to benefit from the increased data rates.
