The new updated revision of the CCR1009 is here. We have tried to incorporate all customer feedback and best practices in the manufacturing of CCR devices that we have learned over the past three years since the introduction of the first CCR1009 devices.

Key Changes

No switch chip - the device now features fully independent Ethernet ports, each with a direct connection to the CPU. This allows it to overcome the previous shared 1Gbit limitation of the switch chip ports and utilize the full potential of the CPU processing power on these ports.

Combo port - a single 1Gbit software interface that has two hardware interfaces - an SFP housing and a Gigabit Ethernet port, allowing you to use any type of connection available to you. The port also enables switching from one interface to the other via software or in the event of a disconnection, providing a new, unique hardware failover feature.

100Mbps SFP support - this is our first device that supports 100BASE-LX/100BASE-SX/100BASE-BX fiber modules as well as standard 1.25G SFP modules.

Higher throughput - due to the way the ports are connected to the CPU, the new CCR1009 models can achieve a higher theoretical throughput.

This device is equipped with a passive cooling case, two heat pipes, and a specially designed heat sink, making it completely silent. It is powered by an external 24V 2.5A AC/DC adapter and supports power redundancy if you also power it via the PoE input port.
