The CCR1036-8G-2S+ is a high-performance network router featuring eight Gigabit ports, two SFP+ ports for 10G connectivity, and dual power supplies for redundancy. This router is powered by a 36-core CPU and can handle the most complex routing and management tasks to support large networks with high bandwidth demands.
Each of its ports is directly connected to the Tilera network CPU, ensuring that ports do not share bandwidth, which guarantees optimal performance and maximum reliability. The CPU supports hardware-accelerated IPSec encryption, allowing you to use it as a powerful VPN gateway to ensure the best encryption between critical sites without compromising connection speed.
The M.2 slot allows for the installation of a high-speed SSD for use as a local user database, proxy storage, or for other functions. Depending on the required RAM size, two versions are available: 4 GB for CCR1036-8G-2S+ and 8 GB for CCR1036-8G-2S+EM.
Compared to the previous model, the new CCR1036 series features a full-sized USB port, improved design redundant power supplies, a serial RJ45 port, and overall enhancements in durability, efficiency, and reliability.
