Double the usual performance: We have used your feedback from the MikroTik user meetings to develop the perfect home lab router: compact, powerful, with multiple power supply options and efficient cooling. The RB5009 offers everything and more.

The board features 9 wired ports and a full-size USB 3.0 port. Seven of the ports are Gigabit Ethernet, one is 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet, and the last is a 10G SFP+ cage. All ports are connected to a powerful switch chip from Marvell's Amethyst family with a 10 Gbps full-duplex link, leading to the Marvell Armada Quad-Core ARMv8 1.4 GHz CPU. Both the CPU and the switch chip are located on the underside of the board – the casing thus acts as a massive heat sink.
