Like the earlier LHG LTE models, this is an internet solution for the last mile, even when your phone has no reception. The new LHG is equipped with a state-of-the-art Category 18 LTE modem - for the fastest mobile internet, no matter where you are. This kit supports speeds of up to 1 Gbps. Thanks to the large 17 dBi high-gain antenna, the LHG LTE18 kit can connect to cell towers in extremely rural areas where nothing else is available.

There is a massive heat sink, so you don’t have to worry about overheating. The design of the grid antenna can withstand rough, windy weather. It can also be mounted in various ways, including on poles.

The LHG LTE18 kit features a CAT18 LTE modem with 1.2 Gbps, enabling carrier aggregation and allowing the device to use multiple bands simultaneously. This is a huge advantage in areas with many LTE users. It provides better responsiveness in crowded environments and higher efficiency in weaker signals in rural areas. If you are competing for traffic in a location with poor connectivity, the new LHG will give you the edge. MikroTik has found that internet speeds in rural areas have doubled after switching to carrier aggregation, so you don’t have to wait for cable network expansion.

Inside, there is a powerful high-gain antenna that supports a variety of LTE bands. It extends up to 2.7 GHz and also provides comprehensive low-frequency coverage. Note that the device only supports 2x2 DL MIMO, as the LHG has only 2 antenna ports. You will use the Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE-In for power over an Ethernet switch.
