MikroTik Gigabit passive PoE injector

The RBGPOE from Mikrotik is a connection cable that is only suitable for PoE devices. PoE (Power over Ethernet) means that with this technology passive network devices can be supplied with power via the Ethernet line. This product serves as a splitter that converts normal network signals into a common data signal and splits it to the necessary power supply. The advantage of this method is that additional cables for the power supply are thus unnecessary. It also allows devices to be placed in locations where an additional power supply would be difficult to implement. The RBGPOE is designed for Gigabit Ethernet networks. The Gigabit range has a maximum transmission rate of 1000 megabits per second. This transmission protocol means that there are no free wires in a network cable, as would be the case with slower protocols. Therefore the power supply must be placed under the normal data signal, which makes the separation of these signals more complex.
