MikroTik GESP+POE-IN PoE adapter

GESPPoE is a passive PoE injector with surge protection. It provides 24V passive PoE with a power output of 24 W per port. The RJ-45 speed is 10/100/1000 Mbit/s. The DC spark-over voltage is 75 V @ 100 V/s, the maximum impulse surge voltage is 700 V @ 1 kV/μs, and the discharge current is 3 kA (8/20μs). PoE support: passive PoE. The operating temperature ranges from -40 to 70 °C.

A typical application scenario looks like this: you have a mast with several antennas and some switches on the ground. Place the GESP surge protector there. It is sealed in a new and improved weatherproof IP67 housing, ensuring your antennas are safe during a thunderstorm. Now add the GESPPOE-IN injector below the mast to protect the switches and power the antennas.

Don't forget the grounding cable. Attach it to the rack mount, mast, or another structure that is connected to the ground. For maximum protection, you should use surge protection at both ends of long cables. These small devices can make a difference when it comes to lightning strikes or static discharge.
