The CRS328-24P-4S+RM is a switch with 28 independent ports, featuring 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports. It offers various power output options, including passive PoE, low voltage PoE, and 802.3af/at (Type 1 "PoE" / Type 2 "PoE+") with automatic detection. PoE-Out is provided via the pins in mode B (4,5+)(7,8-). The four SFP+ ports allow for connectivity of up to 10 Gbps through either fiber or Ethernet modules (not included).

The CRS328-24P-4S+RM comes in a 1U rackmount case with an integrated 100-240 V AC 500 W power supply. The device consumes up to 44 W, ensuring that 450 W (3x150 W for each 8 Ethernet ports) are available to power your PoE devices. Each port can deliver up to 30 W of power with any chosen output option.

This device features a "Dual-Boot" function that allows you to choose between two operating systems: RouterOS or SwOS. If you prefer a simplified operating system with only switch-specific functions, you can use SwOS. For routing and other Layer 3 functions, RouterOS is the preferred choice.
