The MikroTik BaseBox is designed for master and client applications in point-to-point and point-to-multipoint scenarios. The BaseBox features a powerful 600MHz CPU, 64MB RAM, and two RPSMA connectors for connecting to an external antenna.

Configuration of the BaseBox is done via RouterOS. RouterOS L4 offers users the following configuration options:

  • Unlimited number of interfaces
  • RIP and OSPF
  • Up to 200 PPPoE tunnels
  • Up to 200 active hotspot users
  • Up to 20 active User Manager sessions
  • Up to 200 PPTP and L2TP tunnels

Applications:

  • Connecting remote buildings
  • Illuminating public spaces and sports facilities
  • Connecting various clients through point-to-multipoint

Powerful hardware:

The MikroTik BaseBox is equipped with a 1000mW strong Wi-Fi chip and allows for the installation of a miniPCIe card. By using the following miniPCIe card, it can function as a 3G/4G modem:

  • R11e-2HPnD

Outdoor features:

The housing is made of UV-resistant plastic and is designed for temperatures ranging from -30°C to +60°C.
