Increased safety: Best protection in every situation. The activation lock securely protects you from unauthorized or accidental switching on. If a cooking zone is heated at a constant power level for an unusually long time or if there is no pot on the switched-on cooktop, it will automatically turn off. Another attentive helper is the residual heat indicator: it reminds you not to touch the still hot cooking zone.
