Tested hygiene
Carefree dishwashing: Thanks to the hygiene or intensive programme in combination with the PowerDisk or UltraTabs, more than 99.9% of viruses (e.g. corona, influenza or noroviruses) are reliably removed. This has been confirmed by a test conducted by the Institute for Hygiene and Virology. The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences has also confirmed the exceptional hygienic cleaning performance of Miele dishwashers. In the hygiene test, more than 99.99% of bacteria (Enterococcus faecium) were removed with AutoDos and PowerDisk in the ECO and QuickPowerWash 65 °C programmes. And the hygiene programme reduces the bacterial load (Enterococcus faecium or Micrococcus luteus) by at least a factor of 10,000 in the test, even without detergent.

EcoPower technology
In the ECO programme, water consumption is reduced to 8.9 litres. This means that less energy is required for heating up - and you benefit from an energy-efficient dishwasher. The water saving is made possible by an intelligently designed feed system and a highly efficient filter system. Additional insulation reduces heat loss and therefore the energy required to heat the water.

Fresh water dishwashers
Miele dishwashers clean exclusively with fresh water and, in the Automatic programme, use as little as 6 litres of water - significantly less than a full sink. This means that Miele has reduced water consumption by 85% over the last 30 years.
