Not suitable for DA 146, DA 15X, DA 186, DA 249-4, DA 2XXX, and DA 3XXX. In addition to the stainless steel metal filter that captures grease particles, recirculating range hoods use activated carbon filters. Unpleasant kitchen odors are stored and neutralized in the micropores of the activated carbon. If you operate your Miele range hood in recirculation mode, ensure that the operating hour counter of your hood is activated. It reliably indicates when the odor filter needs to be changed. Only by regularly changing this filter can your Miele range hood operate properly in recirculation mode. For all range hoods, both in recirculation and exhaust mode, the grease filters must also be cleaned regularly when the indicator light is on. This is typically every 3-4 weeks. You can find all the information regarding optimal care and cleaning in the user manual of your Miele range hood. Please note: An overly greasy filter poses a fire hazard.
