Open Value and Open Value company-wide

With Open Value, you can consolidate your company's software needs and those of your affiliated companies in the European Union and EFTA states under a central contract. Unlike Open License, Open Value contracts have a three-year term. Software licenses under this model are only available with Software Assurance.

Entry into the Open Value program is possible with as few as five licenses, while the Open Value company-wide option can be completed with 5 qualified devices. License costs under Open Value are generally divided into annual installments. This means that with Open Value, you can keep initial costs low without incurring interest charges.

Open Value is available in two variants:

  • Open Value as a model for licensing individual software needs
  • Open Value company-wide as a model for desktop standardization
  • Desktop standardization means that the company chooses to implement and use a uniform technology platform on personal computers.
