The Simplex cable from Metz Connect is a high-quality fiber optic cable specifically designed for connecting fiber optic termination points to end devices in FITH applications. It is a single-mode cable of category OS2, offering high transmission quality and reliability. With an outer diameter of 2.8 mm, the cable is bend insensitive and meets the requirements according to IEC 60793-2-50 Type B6_a and B6_b as well as G.657.A2 and B2, making it compatible with G.652.D. The cable sheath is halogen-free and ensures low smoke emission, enhancing safety during installation. Each patch cable is 100% tested for insertion and return loss and is marked with a serial number to ensure traceability. The cable is available in a length of 2 meters and is ideal for various applications in fiber optic technology.
