If a conductive liquid (e.g., water) comes between the two electrodes, an electrical connection is established, triggering the alarm on the connected level controller ENW-E12 or MR-LD6. The Leakage Sensor LKS-ZD also includes the feature for wire break monitoring on the leakage monitoring device MR-LD6.
