To switch from reception mode (RX) to transmission mode (TX), you simply need to toggle a switch on the BoomBoom 100. The BoomBoom 100 features both analog and digital connections and supports aptX, aptX Low Latency, and AAC. If your smartphone or tablet supports aptX (Android) or AAC (iOS), you can stream wirelessly in CD quality (RX). To benefit from aptX Low Latency when streaming audio from your television to a Bluetooth headset (TX), the headset must also support aptX Low Latency. Both the transmitter and receiver must be equipped with aptX Low Latency to avoid lip-sync issues and ensure that the image on your television matches the corresponding sound.

Additionally, the BoomBoom 100 can transmit audio from your television to two headphones simultaneously. It streams HD audio via Bluetooth to stereo systems or headphones and can transfer sound from your television or smartphone to a headset or stereo system.
